I have never worn a hate for long runs as I would always be annoyed by it bouncing around or becoming sweaty.
Honestly don't even realise this hat is on your head while running and fits perfectly. Will often wear it while cross training or just causally on weekends.
Girlfriend is always trying to steal it for her runs. Will be buying a second.
